wie seit Anfang April 2004 auf unserer Webseite (www.denic.de)
hingewiesen, wird am 3. Mai 2004 der finger-Service, mit dem bisher
ebenfalls Domaindaten abgefragt werden konnten, abgeschaltet.

Die Abschaltung erfolgt am

Montag, 3. Mai 2004 um 14:00 Uhr (MESZ).

Alle finger-Funktionalitäten sind seit Anfang März 2004 im whois-Service
(whois.denic.de) integriert. Weitere Informationen zum whois befinden sich
unter http://www.denic.de/de/domains/technik/denic_whois-server/index.html
. Wir bitten nochmals alle Nutzer des finger-Services frühzeitig auf den
whois-Service umzustellen.

as noted on our website (www.denic.de) since the beginning of April 2004,
on May 3rd, 2004 we will be deactivating our finger-service, with which it
has until now also been possible to query for domain data.

The deactivation will take place on

Monday, May 3, 2004 at 2 p.m. (MEST).

All functions of the finger-service have been included in our
whois-service (whois.denic.de) since the beginning of March 2004. Further
information is available at
http://www.denic.de/en/domains/technik/denic_whois-server/index.html. We
would like to again ask everyone still using our finger-service to switch
to our whois-service as soon as possible.
