Es bringt obwohl nur einmal gecheckt doch Resultate

Single Point of Failure
The "Single Point of Failure" (SPOF) survey takes a look at a major network
infrastructure vulnerability. Single Point of Failure is
when all the name servers are placed on one subnet without any redundant
geographic backup network. Microsoft had a web outage in
January '01, due to a single point of failure name server setup. Microsoft's
global customers were blocked from reaching any of
their sites like MSN, Hotmail, Expedia, etc.
All the EU members figures on the SPOF subject are high except for Germany
that has only 8.9% Internet zones with SPOF (see Fig. 2
below). The ranking is as follows for the other EU states: 2) Italy (24.1%),
3) The Netherlands (28.5%) , 4) Ireland (32.2%), 5)
Belgium and Greece (37.8%) , 6) Sweden (38.9%), 7) Portugal (42.1%), 8)
Austria (44.4%), 9) Finland (44.5%), 10) Spain (49.8%), 11)
U.K. (58.3%), 12) Denmark (60.6%), and surprisingly13) France has the highest
number of zones with SPOF or 61.3% but they did best
on the performance errors (see above). Information on other "Single Point of
Failure" studies is available here.
